When the Other User screen appears, sign in using your compass email.
Lock the PC (CTRL + ALT + Delete > ‘Lock’) and let it rest for 24 hours to install updates and patches.
Please do not proceed in this guide before completing the steps listed above.
Import Bookmarks
Microsoft Edge is the only Compass-supported browser that automatically backs up your bookmarks. If you have bookmarks you would like to transfer to your new computer, please follow the links below to learn how to import the previously exported bookmark file.

Open Google Chrome
Select the ellipses (three vertical dots) in the top right.
From this dropdown, select “Bookmarks and lists”.
Select “Import bookmarks and settings”.
Within the Import popup, click the dropdown and select “Bookmarks HTML file”.
Within the File Explorer window, navigate to the OneDrive synced location where you previously saved your exported bookmarks.
Select the bookmarks HTML file.
Select the “Open” option from the bottom right corner of the File Explorer window.
Select Done.
Open Mozilla Firefox.
Select the hamburger button (3 vertical lines) in the top right (under the X).
Select “Bookmarks”.
Select “Manage Bookmarks” at the bottom of the dropdown.
Select “Import and Backup” from the top of the Library window.
Select the “Import from HTML…” option.
Within the File Explorer window, navigate to the OneDrive synced location where you previously saved your exported bookmarks.
Select the bookmarks HTML file.
Select the “Open” option from the bottom right corner of the File Explorer window.
Select the ( > ) icon to the left of the “All Bookmarks” option within the Library window to expand the “All Bookmarks” dropdown.
If All Bookmarks is already expanded and shows up as a ( v ), no action is needed here.
Double click “Bookmarks Menu”.
Double click into the “Bookmarks Toolbar”.
Select the bookmarks you would like to add to your toolbar and drag them over to the “Bookmarks Toolbar” folder on the left. (It has a star on it)
Installing missing software
Please install any Compass-supported software by following the guide below.
3. To request the installation of Acrobat DC Pro, MS Project Pro, MS Visio Pro, or VMware workstation player, please complete a software request form by following this link, searching for ‘Software’, and selecting the option pictured below:

Select the Microsoft search bar on your taskbar.
Search for “Company Portal”.
Use the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of the Company Portal window to search for any Compass-supported software you are missing.
To install non-supported software (anything outside of the Company Portal), please complete the software request form by following this link and searching for ‘Software’.
Once an application has been selected, click the Install button.
Once the software has finished installing, you can search for it using the Windows search bar.
Other
Please contact your assigned refresh technician if you experience any issues with the refresh process. There is no need to delete any data from your old computer prior to its return. All Compass assets have encrypted drives that are wiped upon receivalat the leasing company.
